The day has finally arrived! I will tell your story in the best way possible - Super 8! Your film will capture all the most important details and emotions of the day.

We’ll meet up over a video call where I’ll get to know you and talk through your vision for the wedding or elopement day. We'll also discuss logistics leading up to your union and what it looks like to have a Super 8 videographer day of!

Super 8 is a film format from the 1960s. It captures how memories feel in a way like no other. Shooting on real film is a uniquely present process that aligns itself perfectly to an intimate wedding or elopement day. Every film reel includes about 3 minutes of footage, It’s the videographers role to be efficient with changing out the reels in real-time and capture the most significant moments of the day.

I. What is super 8 film?
I make a large effort to send off your film immediately after your special day. I send the film to a trust film lab that will develop and scan the Super 8 film to a digital file. From there, I perform all post-production color grading and editing.

Super 8 cameras are vintage and don’t capture reliable audio. To create a film that truly reflects your story, I’ll follow up with each couple to learn about their music taste or preferred playlist. I also offer complimentary ceremony audio upon request to seamlessly blend into your final Super 8 film.

To ensure the utmost care and artistry in crafting your Super 8 film, I require 9-12 weeks for delivery. This allows time for film developing/processing, thoughtful editing/color-grading, and weaving together a story that feels timeless and true to you. Quality takes time, and I want every frame to be worth the wait.
